David Younk expects and demands the best for North Minneapolis. Unfortunately, we will not see the best unless we have better champions for our community representing us. Results don’t come simply from the number of bills that one writes in the legislature, rather it takes leadership that is willing to fight to get something passed.
David Younk is ready to fight for you in these tough times to bring the resources that are needed to North Minneapolis. David does not buy the notion that seniority is the litmus test that will determine whether the neighborhood receives the resources it needs. Improvement will only come to someone who takes control of the situation, builds partnerships, and accepts only victory.
Seniority has brought us excuses, dead end bills, a list of speaking engagements, and expertise in being an expert. It has brought us closed schools, higher unemployment, more guns on the street, and erosion of housing values throughout the district. Many of our neighbors are either choosing to leave or having that choice made for them and we need fresh leadership to stand up and fight for North Minneapolis!

- Your right to work is real not a marketing gimmick disguised to eliminate the power of labor.

- Your right to vote is not ripped from your hand.
We have been treated like a second-class community too long. It’s time we have first-class leadership to realize the neighborhood we all expect and all deserve!
